The Wasatch Chorale is a community choir based in Provo, Utah, whose mission is to perform high-quality, engaging music for the community. Now 49 years old, the group provides several concerts per year, both alone and combined with other choirs, symphonies, special performers, and skilled instrumentalists.

Messiah Solo Auditions
Announcing solo auditions for the Messiah Sing-Along/Play-Along! This beloved event is returning after a three-year hiatus and will be performed this year in the Covey Center for the Arts on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023. The concert featuring Handel’s Messiah will include recitatives and arias sung by qualified, auditioned soloists and favorite choruses sung by the Chorale and audience. All vocal parts are needed to audition for solo movements. Note: this is a volunteer opportunity. Auditions will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at the Provo Community Congregational Church, 175 N. University Ave., Provo. Please prepare an aria to sing from the Messiah in your voice part for the audition. An aria from the concert list (posted on the sign-up link) is preferred, but others will be acceptable as well. Messiah Orchestra Signup
Calling all orchestra players, especially in Utah County! If you are an intermediate or advanced player of strings, brass, or woodwinds and would like to be a part of a Messiah Sing-Along/Play-Along this holiday season, please apply here. The Wasatch Chorale is hosting this beloved event this year after a three-year hiatus on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023 at the Covey Center for the Arts in Provo. Details can be found in the link below. 2023 - 2024 Season
Welcome to the Wasatch Chorale's 49th season!
Next up we will be presenting the Messiah with you in a sing along & play along concert (December 23rd), having you join us for dinner and music for our fundraising Sing Me a Love Song concert (February 15th), encouraging you join us as we join the UVU choirs and orchestra in performing Mahler's Symphony No. 2 (April 19th), and inviting you to our final concert in May--a kaleidoscope of Alison Unsworth's favorite songs (May 9th and 10th).

Our artistic director, Alison Unsworth, has been involved in choral music her whole life. She earned her bachelor's degree in Choral Education from Brigham Young University and her master's degree in Choral Conducting from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Seeking Tenors and Basses
This year we received an influx of Sopranos and Altos. With this increase, we are seeking to fill the tenor and bass sections to balance out the choir. We will be auditioning tenors and basses for our Winter concert starting Nov 8th. If you are interested, please fill out an audition application at https://tinyurl.com/WCAudition.
The Soprano and Alto sections are currently full. The next opportunity to try out for these sections will be in January 2024.
