The Wasatch Chorale is a community choir based in Orem, Utah, whose mission is to perform high-quality, engaging music for the community. Now more than 40 years old, the group provides several concerts per year, both alone and combined with other choirs, symphonies, special performers, and skilled instrumentalists.
2018 - 2019 Season
Next up is Wasatch Chorale's final concert in its 44th season! We will be singing songs from the screen and stage at Provo Library.
Our concert will open with three pieces of joy and hope: “Hallelujah, Amen” by Handel, “Kyrie” from Memorial by Clausen, and “Zion’s Walls” by Koponen. Next we will perform three American songs filled with spiritual expression: “He’ll Make a Way” by Smith, “Hold On!” by Hairston, and “I Sing Because I’m Happy” by Dilworth. You’ll be tapping your toes and clapping your hands into intermission. During intermission and after the concert you’ll have the opportunity to purchase hand-crafted items and treats made by our choir members.
After intermission we will sing music from the stage and screen: “Under the Sea” by Billingsley, “Remember Me” by Emerson, “Singin’ in the Rain” by Schram, “Pure Imagination” by Hayes, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” by Miller, “The Lonely Mountain” by Althouse, “No One is Alone” by Brymer, and finally “Seventy-Six Trombones” by Lojeski. It’s an evening you won’t want to miss!
